Server/Banquet Staff

The Falls Event Center is looking for friendly, dependable people to join our banquet and event staff. Our servers help create a welcoming, enjoyable experience for guests at weddings, parties, fundraisers, corporate events, dinner shows, and other special occasions.

Most of our events are buffet-style, so this isn't traditional restaurant table service. Our banquet staff focuses on taking care of guests, keeping the event running smoothly, and making sure the room stays clean, organized, and ready throughout the event.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, attentive service to guests throughout events
• Keep water and other beverages filled
• Pass hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hours and receptions
• Monitor and replenish buffet stations as needed
• Clear plates, glassware, and other items from guest tables
• Keep dining and service areas clean and presentable
• Assist with event setup, including tables, chairs, linens, place settings, silverware, and other room preparations
• Assist with cleanup and resetting the venue following events
• Work with other staff members to provide guests with a smooth and enjoyable event experience

Schedule

This is a part-time position, with most shifts taking place on Friday and Saturday afternoons and evenings. Occasional weekday daytime and evening shifts are also available depending on our event schedule.

Because we're an event venue, hours will vary from week to week based on scheduled events.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for people who are dependable, friendly, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced event environment. You should enjoy working with people, be willing to pitch in wherever needed, and understand that great service is often about noticing what a guest needs before they have to ask.

Previous restaurant, banquet, catering, or hospitality experience is helpful, but not required. We're happy to train the right person.

Starting Pay: $15/hour
